ABOUT Escape rooms
My name is Felicity Keane and I am a year 12 student at Havelock North High School. I am running this as a fundraising event for my upcoming overseas travel.
I am going to Japan to practice my Japanese and embrace the culture, and Australia to compete in the Australian National Secondary Schools Volleyball Championships.
Escape rooms are a phenomenon that is exploding around the world. Rather than sitting at your computer pressing buttons you get to enter a real room, search through drawers for clues, solve puzzles and have a great time with your friends or workmates or family.
You do not need to be quiz smart - no outside knowledge will be needed, everything you require is in the room.
So come and give it a go!
Turn up 10 minutes early - come to
The Salvation Army, 303 Avenue Rd E, Hastings
I will meet you and chat before we begin.
The room will be decorated like a Pop-up toy shop.
I give you your first clue and you come into the room and start looking around and following the clues.
You do not need to be quiz smart - no outside knowledge will be needed, everything you require is in the room.
I will be monitoring your team, ready to give any encouragement that you want or need.
Basically, just have fun!
